Clothes Closet volunteers loaded up the truck and it was again driven to South Dakota by Don Wacha, Tama.
The annual aid for the reservation was begun a number of years ago by the late Mary Ann Husak, rural Toledo. Her daughter, Colleen Donald worked as a counselor at Eagle Butte for a time which made Mary Ann aware of the needs there.
The Clothes Clothes Closet, 511 McClellan, provides reasonably-priced clothing and household wares. It is open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
On Oct. 23, the Clothes Closet will host its annual free coat giveaway.
