Funtimes at Toledo Library

June 15, 2010
Toledo Chronicle, Tama News-Herald
Summer fun at the Toledo Public Library began the first week in June with Crafty Thursdays. The first week the kids made their own drums out of butter tubs and munched on popcorn. This crafty Thursday group designed their own frames, necklaces and pins out of puzzle pieces. The finished products were simply amazing. Thanks to our helpers Dillan, Phillip, Carrie, Nicole, Miranda and Emily, the program was a hit. Crafty Thursdays will be held June 17 and 24 at 2 p.m. Listening story time will be held Tuesdays at 2 p.m. on the 15th, 22nd and 29th. The summer reading program, Make a Splash will be held on Tuesdays in July. Call or stop in the library to get signed up. You can download a registration form for the summer reading program on the website
