The group will visit seven countries in 16 days and perform for audiences all over Europe including sites in London, Crans-Montana, Montreux, Zemaat, Switzerland, Vadux, Liechtenstein.
And, Seefield, Austria, Innsbruck, Venice, Italy, Dachau Concentration Camp, Rothenburg ob der Tauber and Germany.
At South Tama, Hauser has been active in marching band - drum major and alto sax, concert band and pep band- alto and tenor sax, jazz band - alto sax. He is a member of the school choir and Harding Street Singers and is in his church choir.
He has taken part in musical productions of Mister Cellophane” from the musical Chicago, “Wizard of Oz” as Zeke/Lion and “My Favorite Year” as King Kaiser.
He also has been active in speech including music theatre - “My Fair Lady” and “If I can’t Love Her” from Beauty and the Beast, choral readings, individual and large group speech.
In addition he has had parts in spring plays “It’s a Wonderful Life” as Sam Weignright and “Almost, Maine” as Chad.
Hauser takes part in golf, track and cross country and is a member of the Diversity Club.
He is seeking local sponsors to help defray the $5,298 cost of the trip.
