Toledo All-Class Reunion plans are quickly taking shape for July

June 1, 2010
By Bob Walton
TOLEDO CHRONICLE - The May Toledo All- Class Reunion meeting was called to order at 2 p.m., May 4, at the State Bank of Toledo Community Room with 23 graduates in attendance.

The reunion is set for July 2-4.

The meeting was chaired by Marlene Eernisse. Previous months minutes were read and approved.

Many loose ends were discussed and decisions made to help make this a very memorable and enjoyable weekend for all.

One of the changes made was to drop the school from the list of tours. Because this would fall on a holiday weekend it would require paying double time to the janitor to be at the school during the time the tours had been planned. It was decided therefore to drop the school tour this time.

A memorial table will be set up for the church service to honor the deceased classmates. Also, it is requested that local attendees bring lawn chairs for themselves as well as extras for use by visitors that will be coming from a distance.

As of May 20 (the date this article was written) there were 100 class members and 37 guests that had confirmed their reservations for this big bash. Everyone is reminded that your reservation must be postmarked not later then June 7 to assure you will be seated with other members of your particular class.

Bruce Muecke will be available to take class pictures at a reasonable price with a table set up on Saturday evening for those interested to sign up.

The last regular meeting will be Monday, June 7, at 2 p.m. at the State Bank of Toledo Community Room. Be sure to get your reservations in to Marlene Eernisse to assure yourself a seat with your class for the Saturday banquet —Will see you there.
