The former Julie Backen was married to Tom Wilkerson at St. John Lutheran Church, rural Tama, on April 20, 1985.
The Wilkersons are celebrating with an open house on Saturday, April 24, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. and a dance from 8 - 11p.m. featuring Dogs on Skis, at the Tama Eagles Hall, 112 E Third St., Tama
Their two children, Brent and Eric Wilkerson both of Toledo, will help them in hosting the event. The couple request no gifts.
