Enrique Victor Castellanos, 37, Marshalltown pled guilty to a charge of driving while barred. He was sentenced to 10 days in jail with credit for 10 days already served and fined $625.

Castellanos was charged on Sept. 25 in the 200 block of Meskwaki Road by Tama County Deputy Sheriff Joe Quandt.

Diane M. Kearney, 73, rural Montour, entered a written guilty plea to first offense drunken driving. Kearney was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for any time already served, fined $1,250 and ordered to attend the 12-hour drinking drivers program.

The fine may be reduced by one-half if she has an ignition inner-lock device installed on her vehicle.

Kearney was charged on Aug. 29 on South Church Street by Toledo Police Officer Brian Randall.

Brett William Steuhm, 37, Tama, entered a written guilty plea to second offense drunken driving. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail with all but seven days suspended, fined $1,875 and placed on unsupervised probation for two years to the 6th Judicial District Department of Correctional Services.

Steuhm was charged on U.S. Highway 30 at Oakland Drive by Tama County Deputy Sheriff David Rangel.
