Special meal coming to Toledo Senior Center

TOLEDO CHRONICLE - Holidays are a great time to get together with friends and enjoy a hot, delicious meal. And to make it even better, we will do the cooking! Hawkeye Valley Area Agency on Aging is encouraging older persons to make plans to attend a special Holiday Meal on Tuesday, December 22. The meal will include the choice between sliced ham or turkey breast and gravy along with scalloped potatoes, Capri vegetables, wheat bread, margarine, and apple pie.

This special meal will be served at 11:30 a.m. at the Toledo Senior Center, 103 S. Church in Toledo. Reservations are requested by 9 a.m. on Monday, December 21. To make a reservation call the Toledo Senior Center at 641-484-3839. This meal is available on a contribution basis for those aged 60 and over, otherwise the cost is $6 for those under 60. Meal contributions allow Hawkeye Valley Area Agency on Aging to continue offering meals throughout the year.
