Terry William Jacobi

Terry William Jacobi, 40, Marshalltown, and formerly of Chelsea, died Dec. 5, 2009, at his home of a short illness.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 11, 11 a.m., at Hrabak Funeral Home, Belle Plaine, with Pastor John Sheda officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelsea, with Military Rites by Benda-Sell American Legion Post of Chelsea. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Honorary Pallbearers are Max Emerson, Emmet Freese, Benny Bitterlie, Matt Dunning, Mark Dunning and Tony Paul Sheda.

He was born Nov. 22, 1969, in Marshalltown, the son of Mary Sue (Sheda) and the late John Jacobi. He received his education at South Tama County High School. He served in the Army from 1988-1995 as a Private First Class and served in the Gulf War.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Jacobi, grandparents, Bill and Mary Jacobi and Tony and Sue Sheda, and Adam Sheda.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Sue (Rick) Koestner, Huxley; step-mother, Sharon Jacobi, St. Louis; brothers, T.J. (Chris) and Travis (Kim), all of Chelsea, and Harvey See.*
