TOLEDO CHRONICLE (SPECIAL) -Former Iowa First Lady Christie Vilsack will be the special guest at the Tama County Democratic Party’s Holiday Soup Supper on Tuesday, Dec. 1. This is Mrs. Vilsack’s first trip back to Tama County since the 2008 Election.

The event will be held at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles at 112 E Third Street in Tama. Serving begins at 5:30 p.m.

Mrs. Vilsack will speak at 7 p.m. Secretary of State Michael Mauro and Secretary of Agriculture Candidate Francis Thicke are also confirmed speakers.

Also invited are: Congressman Leonard Boswell, U.S. Senate Candidates: Roxanne Conlin, Tom Fiegen and Bob Krause as well as Governor Chet Culver.

The public is invited to attend.
