Lekin is a 1993 graduate of South Tama High School and received his higher education at Iowa State University, graduating with a BS in Animal Science in 1997. Lekin is also a graduate of World Wide College of Auctioneering and recently became a licensed real estate agent and realtor.
Lekin has had a very rewarding auctioneering career to date. In 2007 Lekin served as a judge for the World Livestock Auctioneer Championship in Fort Payne, Ala. A 2008 finalist in the Greater Midwest Livestock Auctioneering Contest, a 2008 quarterfinal contestant in the World Livestock Auctioneer Championship and a 2009 quarterfinal contestant of the World Livestock Auctioneer Championship.
Howard, who opened Appraisal and Real Estate Services in 2000, has been in the real estate business since 1993 says that he is excited to offer a new division with the auctions to meet our clients needs throughout Central Iowa. Howard went on to say that he is excited to have Lekin part of the team.
The Appraisal and Real Estate Services team consists of Jammie Howard, owner and Broker, Tracey Hulme, agent, Joe Weber, agent and now welcomes Jason Lekin as a new agent.

Lekin brings 11 years of experience marketing millions of dollars of personal property utilizing the auction method.
Lekin is married to Mandy Lekin and together they have 2 children, a daughter Taylor, age eight and a son, Lane, age six and reside in Toledo.
