TOLEDO CHRONICLE- Members of the public are invited to join in a discussion of the Phase I plan for the Tama County Humane Society Shelter tonight (Tuesday, Oct. 27) at 6 p.m. at the Tama Civic Center.

The shelter is being developed in a building purchased earlier this year by the Society on East 5th Street in Tama. It formerly housed the Second Hand Store.

The Humane Society will also discuss opening of the Thrift Store at the shelter location and upcoming fundraising events.

Current volunteers will be recognized Tuesday and new volunteers are being sought. Coffee and cookies will be served.
