TOLEDO CHRONICLE - (SPECIAL) - Construction of relocated U.S. 30 through Toledo will cause the permanent closure of through traffic on South Church Street between Grand and Oak streets beginning Oct. 26, weather permitting, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) Marshalltown construction office.

Broadway also remains closed for construction of an overpass of the new route.

The Iowa DOT reminds motorists to drive with caution, obey posted speed limit and other signs in the work area, and be aware that traffic fines for moving violations are at least double in work zone
