This year the date is Sunday, Nov. 1, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the STC High School gym. Pat Wall has been the chairman for the craft show for many years. She has rented many tables out to crafty people who come from near and far to show, display and sell their many beautiful crafts. Lunch will be available all day and will be prepared by the Civic Women.
The money earned from the craft show will be donated to many local civic organizations such as Dollars for Scholars, the Ministerial Association, the Boy and Girl Scouts, the museum, libraries, the nature center and many other worthy causes. They also give to Adopt a Family at Christmas time.
This is a good time to go Christmas shopping and support community betterment.
The Tama Toledo Civic Women meet the fourth Tuesday of every month usually at the Community Room of the State Bank of Toledo.
They have interesting programs and make use of local talent and dinner is served. All women are welcome to come and take part in this worthy organization. The dues are very reasonable so everyone can take part in good community betterment projects.
