Probation is revoked, sentenced to prison

Dale Everett Bogue, 25, addresses of Garwin and Marshalltown, had probation revoked and was sentenced to concurrent five and two year prison terms to run concurrently with a Benton County sentence. The sentence was imposed for alleged failure to comply with sex offender registry regulations and conviction of possession of a controlled substance marijuana.

He also received a concurrent five year term on a 3rd degree theft conviction for the theft of a snowblower valued between $1,000-$5,000.

The snowblower was recovered by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office when a search warrant was executed on Feb. 23.

Andrew Jacob Goering, 21, Garwin, received a suspended five year prison term and must pay a $750 fine for conviction on a charge of manufacture of a controlled substance, marijuana.

He was ordered to reside in a community-based correctional facility for up to one year and placed on probation to the 6th Judicial District Department of Correctional Services for three years.

Goering was charged on May 1 by Tama County Deputy Sheriff Bruce Rhoads.

Duane Mario Miglia, 62, Montour, was resentenced on a 2003 conviction of lascivious acts with a child. Miglia was sentenced to a concurrent term with two other concurrent sentences of 10 years for two counts of 3rd degree sexual abuse.

Paul Steven Lauritson, 42, Dysart, was found guilty of failure to comply with sex offender registry requirements, 1st offense. He was sentenced to 15 days in jail with all but three suspended and fined $625.

Lauritson was charged on Aug. 10 by Tama County Deputy Sheriff Craig Karr.

Guilty pleas 1st offense drunken driving-

Eric Scott Fackrell, 21, Clive, 48 hours Linn County jail, $1,250 fine, to be reduced to $625 if an ignition interlock device is installed on his vehicle. Charged June 27 at U.S. 30 and T47 by Tama County Deputy Sheriff Bryan Ellenbecker.

Christopher T. Jones, 26, Eldora, deferred judgement, $1,250 civil penalty. Charged on June 29 in Gladbrook by Tama County Deputy Sheriff Michael Wright.
