The bride-elect is the daughter of Dale and Pat Holmes of Montour. She is employed as a Senior Account Manager for Interstate Batteries of Des Moines.
Her fiancé is the son of Roger and Helen Mahnke of Altoona. He is employed for the Des Moines Public School District.
The couple’s wedding is planned for Oct 17, 2009. The ceremony will be held at the VFW in Newton.
