Letter to the Editor:

This next week, my husband and I are celebrating the birthday of Brandi, a mini dachshund, we acquired one year ago through Town & Country Vet Clinic that was a stray turned in to them.

I just want to say, if you are reading this and you threw out a black - tan doxie last summer by Montour, she is now in her forever home.

Brandi,aka Tidbit, has four fur-baby brothers & sisters. She is very much loved, is fat and sassy, and is healthy and happy.

Thank you for giving us the privilege of taking care of her.

People who throw out animals are the scum of the earth. You are the lowest form of life. All animals ask is for love and care from their families. They give love unconditionally.

To have an animal and just toss it is disgusting. You will have to answer someday for this act.
