TAMA NEWS-HERALD - An open house for their new club facilities and a pair of horse events are on tap this weekend, June 27-28, at the Ridge Riders Saddle Club west of Tama-Toledo.
On Saturday there is a Jackpot Speed Show and on Sunday the Ridge Riders Saddle Club 4-H Show begins at 10 a.m.
A total of 18 events are set for Sunday from a Horse Halter for kids three and under to senior contest for those age 14 and older.
Contestants are invited to register with class fees set at $10 per horse all day.
Overnight camping also available on the Ridge Riders Saddle Club Grounds. A paid camping permit is required.
