Iowa mystery author Donald Harstad to visit Toledo Library

TOLEDO CHRONICLE- Well-known former Clayton County deputy sheriff Donald Harstad, now a best-selling mystery author, will be at the Toledo Public Library on Thursday, June 18 beginning at 6 p.m. The public is invited with refreshments to be served.

Harstad's presentation promises to be entertaining as he 'colors' his remarks with his own experiences in law enforcement.

Harstad is the author of such titles as Known Dead, The Big Thaw, Eleven Days and Code 61. He often uses rural Iowa as a backdrop for the stories.
