Hershal and Shirley (Orcutt) Weidner were married 65 years ago in Key West, Fla., on May 20, 1944.
Hershal owned the Ford and Mercury garage for 41 years and Shirley taught school for 23 years.
They have two sons Marvin (Marty) in Austin, Texas and Craig.

They have a grandaughter, Shelly (Mike) Spurlin and their children Briana, Caitlin, Ryan and Cameron in Tama. A grandson, Drew (Mindy) Weidner and their son, Xander in Davenport. A granddaughter Libby (Matt) Tate and their children, Ellie, Katy, Annie and Gabe in St. Charles, Ill. and a grandson, Seth in Los Angeles.
