TAMA NEWS-HERALD- There's still time to submit your nomination of a Tama resident for the annual Tama Citizen of the Year honor.
The Tama Firefighters Association has chosen a person from nominations who has contributed to the quality of life in Tama through volunteer efforts each year since 1982.
The citizen selected is recognized during the Lincoln Highway Bridge Festival which is set for May 15 and 16 this year.
Nominations should be sent to the Tama Fire Fighters Association, o/o Tama City Clerk Judy Welch, 305 Siegel, Tama. The deadline is noon on May 7.
