TAMA NEWS-HERALD - TOLEDO CHRONICLE
It's the 11th annual Tama-Toledo Business Farm and Home Show coming next Saturday, March 7, at the Veterans Convention Center at the Meskwaki BingoCasinoHotel, located four miles west on U.S. 30.
"We're hoping with the longer hours (10 a.m.- 8 p.m.) more people are able to attend," said Chamber of Commerce President Brittany Hunt. She said planners for the popular event added hours so even more persons can add it to their weekend schedule. It is sponsored each year by the Chamber organization.
Meskwaki Veterans Convention Center will again be the site of the Tama-Toledo Area Chamber of Commerce Business, Farm and Home Show on Saturday, March 7. The entrance is shown in this News-Herald file photo from 2008.
Along with booths and displays of the latest for home and farm, entertainers will take to the Convention Center stage.
Back by popular demand will be students from Pam's School of Dance. Watch next week's newspapers and tamatoledonews.com for other venues to be announced.
Door prizes including special items from merchants and Chamber Bucks will be given away. After registering, entrants are not required to be present to win, Hunt said. Individual booths may also have drawings and gifts.
