Mobile Meals

The week of Jan. 5-9, 130 meals were delivered in Tama and Toledo.

The Tama Lions Club delivered 84 meals in Tama. Making deliveries were Ray Judge, Randy VanDyke, Denny Neiland, Bob Klosterman, Galen Musgrave, Lenny Hagadorn, Todd Holtz, Byron Witt, Larry Thomas and Ron Wobeter.

The Catholic Women delivered 46 meals in Toledo. Those volunteers were Lud and Rva Dostal, Ray and Betty Coleman, Jim Roan and Bob and Virginia Benda.

The week of Jan. 12-16, 125 meals were delivered in Tama and Toledo.

The Kiwanis delivered 80 meals in Tama. Those working were Pat Green, Cindy Roth, Harold Woodworth, Gene and Betty Vesely and Laywin Leek.

Fellowship Baptist Church delivered 45 meals in Toledo. Making deliveries were Marlene Crabtree, Shirley Matson, Gary Matson, Gerals and MNary Ann Ross and Becky Faircloth.

The week of Jan. 19-23, 136 meals were delivered in Tama and Toledo.

The Career Development Center delivered 84 meals in Tama. Those volunteers were Carleen Corum, Teresa Vodochodsky, Pam Rutledge, Vince Boyer, Bill Boyer, Letty Sanchez, Mandy Emke, John Stalzer, Mike Callahan, Oriah Kapayou, Tim Hauser and Kody Risse.

The Toledo Lions Club delivered 52 meals in Toledo. Making deliveries were Kyle Chaska, Dwayne Wood, Dallas Hotchkiss, Ray Judge and Earl McCreary.

The week of Jan. 26-30, 137 meals were delivered in Tama and Toledo.

The Career Development Center delivered 87 meals in Tama. Those volunteers were Teresa Vodochodsky, Pam Rutledge, Vince Boyer, Bill Boyer, Letty Sanchez, Mandy Emke, John Stalzer, Mike Callahan, Oriah Kapayou, Tim Hauser and Kody Risse.

The Toledo Presbyterian Church delivered 50 meals in Toledo. Those working were Lois and Kyle Chaska, Bev and Ed Vesely, Ann and Jerry Hendricks, Connie and Leonard Pugh and Dave and Sonya Mason.

Sharon Shouse delivered 159 frozen meals to Gladbrook and Garwin. Jack Williams and Rev. Seth delivered 21 congregate hot meals to Montour. Tama, Toledo and Traer received 410 frozen meals.

Volunteers for the month of January were Bev Graff, Helen Hruby, Marlene Dolezal, Mavis Bachman, Mildred Backen and Nancy Blocker Tama County Senior Services Coordinator.
