This decision was based on "one (1)" visit to the home...seriously? If the decision to remove a child from a home in 99.9 percent of the homes in America that have children in them were based on just one visit to the home and a single report from a disgruntled neighbor and/or child 98 percent of those children would be wards of the government! The REAL abuse of the 21 children involved here is the closing of IJH by Governor Branstad and his task force. And anyway, how many Child Advocates were actually a part of this decision? By the way Governor, just so your conscience does not rest easy, I am fairly certain that All of the “Private Providers” and Federal Institutions that you are shipping these children to also have “Quiet Rooms, Isolation and Holding Cells” to control behavioral problems. Tell me, please, how do you propose to combat that?
