Oh no. I did not know that she had passed. Mrs. Carmichael was my favorite teacher. She was kind, thoughtful, tough, and she allowed me to learn my own way. Over the years, when I would see her in the store, or at the post office, or wherever, we always had a nice visit. She was just the kindest lady. I will always be grateful to her for her comforting words, and hug, when my dad passed away. Rest peacefully, Mrs. Carmichael.
