Why not cruise ships to Haiti?

Forget this flags and nations they fly under stuff for a minute. If the airport has but one landing strip (and another opened) why aren't some of the many cruise ships that ply the Atlantic being used in this humanitarian effort to aid the people of Haiti? The ships carry food and supplies, and crews are in place. Some can hold 5,000 (or more) passengers. Load them up with the health, rescue and relief workers and supplies and get going. If the port won't handle the ships, use the landing craft the military is using to bring their personnel and supplies ashore.

And do what with them? Take them to Florida? Even the palaces where the past presidents squandered their country's wealth have crumbled. Lead a multinational quest to uncover the wealth no doubt hidden in off shore accounts and give it back to the people.
