Clinker for Clunkers?

It is being widely reported Ford pickup truck owners tradedd their F150 'clunkers' for new Ford 150s "

What? The requirements were at least 8 mpg improvement for the new purchase.

Will we ever know if the dealers scammed the government, the government turned a blind eye to meeting the standards to participate or there were just some honest errors including the sale of a reported 8,200 new F150 replacements which did not qualify?

Can't you just wait for our government to totally run health care?

an improvement of just 1 mpg to 3 mpg over the clunkers."

I have and am living with government health care and you will not like it; furthermore,I think putting a photo of a Chrysler product next to an acticle about a fine Ford pickup is an insult to a company that has not required us to bail them out twice.
